Thinking of going Go Karting in York? Go Karting can be a great day or night out with friends and often the larger the party you go with, the better it can be. It is an ideal trip for a works night out.

Go Karting in York is an increasingly popular form of entertainment with locations becoming ever more exciting features, often incorporating crazy corners, dips, rises and even bridges.

If there is a large party of you, a full tournament can be organised with heats and subsequent rounds through to a ‘showcase’ final. Your laps are timed and whilst you may not come first all the time, you can still compete for the fastest lap with your friends. The fastest lap performed by a non automatic qualifier for the latter stages of a tournament will usually qualify on the basis of their fast lap.

Whilst it is important to drive quickly, you need to be fairly sensible or you could well be black flagged (the Go Karting equivalent to the red card) or maybe gain a time penalty. This means no shunting or intentional slow driving in front of your competitors.

The best way to achieve a fast time is to go wide on the corners and take them quite slowly otherwise you will spin, and to speed out of the corners onto the straights.

York is the place to be for Go Karting, you never know you could be the next Michael Schumacher!!
